CARA ANN SETTLE 1973-2016

age 43, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born August 18, 1973 in Myrtle Beach, S. Carolina to Robert and Ruth Settle. She graduated from Southgate School in 1995 and attended Stark County Board of Development Disabilities workshops since graduation. She also attended Calvary Presbyterian Church. She inspired love and laughter in those she met. She thoroughly enjoyed the company of others, playing in the ocean, watching Sponge Bob, and spending as much time as possible out in the community with her caregivers visiting parks, attending festivals, and shopping.

She is survived by her parents; brother, Robert, Jr. and fiancé, Katharine Piccari (Cara’s favorite person); great aunt, Helen Hamberger, aunt, Pati Thomas; uncle and aunt, Jerry and Connie Thomas; uncle and aunt, James and Ree Thomas; aunt, Mary Ann Settle; and a host of cousins and acquaintances. Her bright & sunny disposition will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Calling hours will be Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services officiated by Reverend C. David Morgan on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Wackerly Funeral Home in Canton.
