Davison, Harold Alexander “Hank” 1930-2017

Harold A. Davison 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2017 with family by his side. Harold, the youngest of five, was born on February 2, 1930, to a loving family, in Glen Williams, Ontario. Harold was preceded in death by his beloved son, Timothy (Lori) Davison. Harold is survived by his wife of 69 years, Rhona Davison; his children Gary (Susan) Davison, Lynne (Ron) Brahler, Steven (Lisa, deceased) Davison, Laura (Gary) Brison; his 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Harold lived a full life, and always kept busy with hobbies: raising fox hounds, bicycling, traveling, reading, scuba diving, sailing, managing real-estate, and gardening. We loved Hank’s wit, charm, intelligence, and matter-of-fact personality. Harold was a member of the Church of the Covenant, where he worshiped, helped others, and served as an Elder and a Deacon throughout the past forty years.

To stay true to Harold’s wants, there will be a memorial to celebrate his life and we will think of him at his happiest, when the zinnias are blooming in his children’s and grandchildren’s gardens. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday the 14th of October, at 1:00 pm in the Church of the Covenant with Rev. Dr. Barbara Johnson officiating. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
