age 92, of North Canton died Tuesday evening in Aultman Compassionate Care following a brief illness. A life resident of Stark County he was a graduate of McKinley High School, Kent State University and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WW II. He retired from the Timken Company in 1982 and in his retirement enjoyed traveling, golfing & crafting stained glass. His memberships included, St. Peter Catholic Church, the Catholic Men's Luncheon Club and the Hall of Fame Luncheon Club. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Pauline (Lippert) Williams; brothers: John Williams and Eugene Williams. Jim is survived by his second wife: Janice (Domer) Williams; sons: Douglas (Carol) Williams; daughter: Judith Williams; step-sons: Timothy (Nancy) Whitehouse, Dean (Diane) Whitehouse; step-daughters: Susan Whitehouse, Margie (Jeff) McDonald; grandchildren: Amy, Meghan, Ali, Lianna, Audrey, Billy and 9 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will meet Friday at 11:00 am in St. Peter Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian burial with Fr. John E. Sheridan as celebrant. A private family burial with military honors will take place in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Donations may be made in his name to St. Peter's School.
