Josephine K. Pauly,

age 95, of Louisville, died Thursday in St. Joseph Care Center following a extended illness. Born in Canton she was the daughter of the late Naif Sam (Karam) and Selma Khalil and was a 1939 graduate of McKinley High School. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima, E.W.T.N. Miraculous Medal and the Legionaries of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Pauly; brothers: Fred Karam, Joseph Karam; sisters: Caroline Keney and Dorothy Swingle. She is survived by her brother-in-law: LaVerne Pauly; nephews: Joseph (Pat) Karam, Fred Karam, Daniel (Denise) Karam, Naif Karam, Ted (Kim) Karam, Ronald (Geri) Swingle; neices: Mary Kimberlin, Carrie (Bill) Paulus, Diana Billman; numerous great & great great neices and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 in St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr John E. Sheridan as celebrant. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home.
