Julius L. “Slim” Mayle, 1945-2016

age 71, of Canton died Wednesday at Altercare of Louisville. Born in Philippi , WV he was the son of the late Denzil & Pansy (Minard) Mayle and lived in Canton most of his life. He retired from the Timken Company in 2005, was a member of Canton Freewill Baptist Church and the American Sportsman Club of East Canton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers & sisters. He is survived by his wife: Kathleen (Eddleman) Mayle; sons: Julius Mayle Jr, Calvin Lee Mayle, Sonny Lewis; daughters: Pansy Mayle, Autumn Rowe; brothers: Michael (Carmen) Mayle, William Harless; sister: Linda (Kenny) Newman; 4 grandchildren; a host of several family and friends. Funeral services will be Monday at 12 noon in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin “Jack” Mayle officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
