Martha J. Weaver,

age 83, of Strasburg, was born into eternity on Tuesday October 4, 2016 in Community Hospice House of New Philadelphia. A life resident of the Tuscarawas area she was the daughter of the late: Ralph & Amelia (Margo) Weaver Sr., a graduate of St. Joseph High School class of 1951 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. During the different seasons of her life, Martha enjoyed family get-togethers, spending time sewing, and playing cards with her card club. She took comfort in her deep faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Donald Weaver, Ralph Weaver Jr. and sister: Dorothy Weaver. She is survived by her sister Theresa (Andrew) Bontrager of Wilmot; nephew: Ralph “Butch” Weaver III; nieces: Rachel Wackerly and Melissa Prince. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 11:00AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover with Fr. Jimmy Hatfield as celebrant. Calling hours are from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Dover. The Wackerly Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arraignments.
