We just want you to know what an absolute pleasure it was to become acquainted with your amazing mother. We treasured talking with your family ,as well, when we had the chance at Bethany. You are a wonderful family. My husband and I were out of town all last week at a conference and are just now learning of Mary's passing. I am so sorry to have missed calling hours. Please know that you all will be in our prayers. She is not just a part of our past, she is a part of our future......much love. Terry and Margy Fearon (Sue Henry's daughter)

Ahh, did find your message and was so happy to see you in person last week. To the very last day, your Mom would wave to Mom as she left the cookie stand. How good God has been to us these past years, to give us Moms at Bethany who shared Catholic roots in Canton. Will there be a Bethany reunion someday in heaven? Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers

Please accept my sincere condolences for the death of Mrs. Feicht. Having heard Father Don's loving words about her many times at St. Joe's, I felt that I knew her. I imagined that she was the last living mother of a Central classmate, so I was all the more saddened to learn of her death. Best wishes and prayers to Fr. Don and the rest of the family.

Thank you Dick, for your kind words. Others also mentioned how often I had spoken of her, more than I ever realized. But she was such a precious woman who loved her vocation as wife and mother to a big family. And she was the matriarch of the priest mothers of our diocese. Any mothers of our classmates besides her still with us, I do not know. Perhaps you are right. How grateful I was to have her at my side on my 75th Mass and birthday party last August. ..PS Fr Joe Witmer and Msgr Frank Carfagna celebrate 50 yrs a priest this May. Watch for that!

RoseAnn and Father Don and all - I am so deeply sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. What a life she lived! There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her as I drive by her house. She was a peach and I so loved visiting with her. You are all in my prayers. God's blessings to each of you.

So grateful we were for your presence and the reminder that Mom sure loved her neighbors and was never 100% reconciled with the need to leave her home she so loved, though she was gracious to all who welcomed her to Bethany, a smile all the time. cNow may she experience the joy of Jesus and His saints welcoming her to the best home ever!

In case response 1 did not work, I will try again to thank you for your kind message, such a surprise. Mom prayed for a large family, and God blessed her and Dad with that. These years since her stroke we were able to give our thanks by serving her a bit as she did so very well for us. May she and Dad be thrilled to be with Jesus, Abba Father, Mother Mary, and so many saints.

Such a nice gift you made to us by your message and presence Barb. Wouldn"t you love to hear your Dad exclaiming with joy the coming of my Mom into the Kingdom prepared for them? And your Mom would have been thrilled to welcome her too in her own gentle way. How great is our God to give us the hope of joining them there someday!

Marilyn, Wil and family. Was so very sad to hear of Mary's passing. What a wonderful long life here on earth she had and such enjoyment you got to share with her for all those years. I know you will miss her, but just hold your memories close and she will always be with you.

Glory be to our gracious God - of all the messages sent my way these past weeks, yours might be one of those that surprised and pleased me most. Yes, my leaving Alliance when I did was providential, in that Mom had her stroke on Christmas Eve that year so in these past 5 yrs I was able to join my siblings in making sure she was visited maybe 5 of every 7 days. Adjusting to the loss of her living in her country home of 38 yrs to relocate at the Bethany Home was something she never quite did but she was a trooper and exuded joy to everyone most always. Her nickname there: Miss Mary. And thanks for the wishes of the Alliance of Churches. Such memories mostly grateful ones, esp. with your presence holding us together. And your vision too of what Church should be!

God Bless.....I am sure at this moment, Mary and Gertrude are embracing, and John and Paul are ready for a trip somewhere....4 such wonderful people, now united forever, enjoying all that wonderful heavenly music, and colors we dont even know exist. WHAT A WONDERFUL PICTURE that gives me, along with the sorrow of losing such a wonderful, kind, caring Mother.............Praise the Good Lord.
She was certainly one of my favorite people.....

Thanks for your sharing Betty. Boy, brought to my mind a flood of great thoughts and memories of our mothers and dads too. Talk about soul-friends and peas in a pod. What a gift God gave them in their friendships to be enhanced in ways yet unknown to us in the home Jesus promised us!
