Robert L. Bellinski, age 87, of Canton, died Tuesday morning in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. A life resident of Canton he was the son of the late: Frederick & Cali (Fox) Bellinski, was a 1945 graduate of McKinley High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Bob retired from U.S. Steel in 1982, was a member of Christ the Servant Catholic Parish and the Canton Eagles. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Bellinski in 2011; son: Robert W. Bellinski in 1997 and several brothers. He is survived by his granddaughter: Angela (Mike) Bellinski-Price of Canton; daughter-in-law: Sheryl Bellinski of N. Canton; nephews: Danny, Timmy; nieces:Patricia "Tish", Linda, Toni-Jean and Sandy. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday at 1:30 pm in Christ the Servant Catholic Parish Church with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano as celebrant. Burial with military honors will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home.
