Robert L. Paone,

age 78, of Canton, died Tuesday following a brief illness. A life resident of Canton, he was the son of the late Joseph & Mary (Roman) Paone, graduated from Timken High School class of 1957 and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Canton, retired from the Teamsters and was the owner of the Conestoga Grill. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Shirley Paone who died in 2016 and brother Ronald Paone. He is survived by his sons: Robert (Joni) Paone of Canal Fulton, Christopher (Brinda) Paone of Charlotte, NC, Timothy Paone of Marshall Island; brother: Richard Paone of N. Canton; grandchildren: Derek, Logan, Alexis and Perry. There will be no services. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
