Dear John, Katie, and Jordan,
I am so sorry to learn of Susie’s passing. John, our KSU days and post grad years in Ohio are full of many memories of Susie’s smiling face and fun loving ways. She was a treasure of a friend! I know we’ve lost touch over the years but you two were a very special couple to me and I loved our times together. I have some great pics from those years and would be happy to share. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that so many others share in the loss of this classy lady.

I attended St. John's grade school. I spent 8 years in the same classroom with Susan. She was very sweet girl.A pleasure to be around. She was such a good artist.I am sorry to hear of her passing.May she rest in peace with our Lord Jesus Christ.

So very sad to lose my sweet cousin. Some of my fondest memories were on McDowell. Especially on July 4, the gang of Mimi's, plus Mom, Dad, Beth, Linda, Joanie, and (if we were lucky) Aunt Joan and Uncle Neil would all gather for our family reunion. Grandma Gigi, and her luscious pies, Steve and his beautiful garden of flowers and vegetables. To this day, we joke -- did you see the size of Steve's zucchini ??? Ah, those were the days, my friend -- I thought they'd never end.

I have fond memories of summers playing with Susie and Cathy Pertl. Whether we were at Woodland playground, playing the game of Life ay my house, or camping in the Pertl’s backyard, we had a great time together. One summer Susie and I waked down to St John’s for Mass every Tuesday morning, followed by a stop at Mary Ann Doughnuts, and the bookmobile. My thoughts and prayers are with all her family.
