Brandon L. Wehl,
age 65, of Canton died Saturday Sept 1, 2018 following a brief illness. Living most of his life in the Stark County area he was the son of the late Glenn & Ella Mae (Metzger) Wehl, was a 1971 graduate of North Canton Hoover High School and was president/CEO of Portage Electric. He was a member of St. Anthony - All Saints Catholic Church where he served on parish council, was a Lay Leader of Prayer and an altar server. He was also a member of the Diocesan Council for the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, the Jackson Belden/Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and the C.I.C. Commission. He is survived by the love of his life: Paula (Hughes) Wehl of the home; sisters: Allyson Wehl, Kimberly (Mike) Ziegler all of Massillon and nephew: Doug Southworth. In addition to his parents he was also proceeded in death by his mother-in-law: Pauline Hughes. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony - All Saints Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Kraszewski, Fr. Thomas Bishop and Fr. Ernesto Rodriguez as con-celebrants. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call Thursday afternoon from 2 to 5 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Friends at Stark Pound and St. Anthony Catholic Church.
