Earl L. Kulp,
age 69, of Canton, died Thursday morning in his home surrounded by his family. Born in Phoenix AZ, he had lived in the Canton area most of his life. He attended McKinley High School and worked in the asphalt and paving industry. He was an avid golfer & bowler and in 2012 was inducted into the GCAABA Billiards Hall of Fame. Earl is survived by his sons: Frank (Jennifer) Kulp of Canal Fulton, Earl Kulp of Clearwater FL; daughter: Natalie (Bob) Mitzel of Jackson Twp; step-son: Steve Smith of Tampa FL; brother: Tony (Joyce) Salapack; sisters: Theresa (Dave) Bichsel, Georgette (Dana) Nelson, Lucille (Tom) Hill, Lena Both, Caroline Wolfe; grandchildren: Olivia, Jevon, Earl, Emmalie and Nathan. He is also survived by his care giver and companion of 17 years: Cindy McAfee. He was preceded in death by his mother: Rita Bennett and step-daughter: Melissa McAfee. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 pm in Christ Lutheran Church, (3545 Amherst Ave NW, Massillon, OH 44646) with Rev. Nancy L. Bacon officiating. Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the church. His final resting place will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
