Keith T. Beard,

age 61, of Canton died Wednesday following a brief illness. A life resident of Canton he was the son of the late Thomas & Margie (Gridstaff) Beard. He was a member of First Christian Church, enjoyed gardening, fishing and target practicing. He is survived by his brother Allen (Gloria) Beard of Canton; nephews: Bobby (Theresa) Beard, Tommy Beard; niece: Trudy Hunt; several grand-nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his nephew: Greg Beard. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Pastor Amy M. Downard officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the Wackerly Funeral Home.
