Leo Anthony Harrison, 1933-2018
Age 85, of North Canton passed away in the Lords good time on December 14, 2018. He was born to James and Lavina Harrison on December 10, 1933. He was an Army Veteran and worked at the Hoover Company for 43 years. Leo had extra ordinary talents and a beautiful voice. He spent his life volunteering his services to many churches and organizations and was generous giver.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Mercer) of 55 years and one brother Elmer Harrison. His children Timothy (Michele), Daniel (Tina) and Michael (Juliann) Harrison; 9 wonderful grandchildren, Rebecca, Evan, Maria and Grace Harrison, Nicholas and Joseph Harrison and Kristen, David and Jonathan Harrison. He was preceded in death by brothers: Carl, Donald, Richard, Paul, Harold and James Harrison Jr and sisters Rita Connelly and Mary Ann Gourley. Two Infant children, David Leo and Lisa Marie who died at birth.
He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church, North Canton, a charter member of the North Canton K of C Bishop McFadden Council #3777. Leo Loved the Lord and Blessed Mother Mary. He loved to meet people, and to have fun. He was Pro-life and a missionary at heart.
Mass of Christian burial will be Friday at 10:00 am in St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Marian Babjak as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Food for the Poor, 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL 33073.
