Mary L. Feicht, age 99, of East Sparta passed away Sunday February 12, 2017 in Bethany Nursing Home in Canton following a brief illness. Born in Toledo to the late Charles & Laura (Beat) Neuhausel she had lived in the Canton/Stark County area most of her life. She was a member of Holy Family Parish at St. Clement Catholic Church in Navarre, Holy Family Altar & Rosary Society, H.I.M. of St. Benedict's and a former longtime member of the Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Canton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Feicht who died in 1994; daughter: Donna Marie Feicht; brother: Charles Neuhausel; sisters: Sr. Florence Neuhausel, S.G.M., Marie Welter, Sr. Mary St. Charles, S.N.D., and granddaughter: Sharon Rose Warth. She is survived by her sons: Fr. Donald Feicht of Louisville, Charles (Rosalind) of Waynesville, OH, James (Kristin) Feicht of Louisville; daughters: Rose Ann Warth of Canton, Helen (Edward) Herzog of Canton, Barbara (John) Hanna of Hudson, Marilyn (Wilfried) Smaka of Barota, MI, Christine (Duncan) Orr of Flagstaff, AZ; son-in-law: Ralph Warth of Canton; 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday at 10:30 am at Holy Family Parish in St. Clement Catholic Church with her son Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home and Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 am in the church. A luncheon will follow the Mass in Holy Family Parish Hall at St. Clement Campus. Burial will be Friday at 2:00 pm in St. John's Cemetery, Canton. Donations may be made in her name to the Pregnancy Support Center of Stark County or Holy Family Parish.
