Netalyn E. Santora 1922-2018

, age 95, born in Canton, peacefully began her eternal calling in Heaven on Tuesday. She asked that we have a celebration so we will celebrate the life of a spectacular woman who was a wife, a mother, an aunt, a best friend, a mentor, a teacher, a hero, an encourager, servant, a leader, and the ideal example which gave her titles of mom, mother, gram, grandma, great-nana so much meaning. She served others and the community daily, never met a stranger and always found ways to bless others. She lived her life to the fullest, making the most of every moment, investing in the lives of all those she came into contact with. She is leaving behind her legacy for so many she impacted. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. She is survived by her ; daughter: Jeanne (Virgil) Steiner; sons: Peter (Sheryl) Santora Jr, John (Janine) Santora, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents Giovanni and Lucia (Simonelli) Marzilli she was preceded in death by her husband: Peter Santora, daughters: Rosemary Santora and Marilyn Whalen; great-grandson: Michael Walton. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 1:00 pm in St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Scott Kopp as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery of Massillon. Friends may call from 12 noon to 1:00pm on Saturday in the church. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
