Wallace E. Cratty, 1924-2019

Age 95, of Canton died Monday morning January 28th following a brief illness. Born in Galloway, PA he was the son of the late Charles and Mildred (Keith) Cratty.  Living in Canton most of his life he retired from Merit Plastics and enjoyed playing string instruments including the guitar and the banjo. He is survived by his sons: Robert Cratty of Titusville, PA, Richard Cratty of Carrollton; daughters: Carolyn (Barry) Hiner of Canton, Pamela Huppert of Navarre; grandchildren: Julie, Diana, Jonathan, David, Jason and Megan. Wallace had 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his: wife: Frances Cratty; brother: Vernon Cratty and sister: Thelma Bickle. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Hiner officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 12 noon to 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Donations may be made in his name to the Prostate Cancer Society.
