Alice J. Woodring

Age 59, of North Canton, died Friday at Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born in Canton, OH.  she was the daughter of the late: Joseph C. and Joan J. Woodring (Maierhofer) and had lived in the North Canton/Canton areas all of her life. She was a 1981 graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. She was formerly employed by Stark MRDD and made a difference in so many individual's lives. Her kindness at work and home was paired with an incredible sense of humor and quick wit. She was loud, strong, and simply amazing. She was the best daughter, sister, fiance, and aunt. She is survived by her fiance Michael Miller of North Canton; sisters: Linda (Dave) Smith of East Canton, Carol (Tom) Lewis of Canton, Patricia (James) Chevraux of North Canton; brother Joseph Woodring of Parma; Nephews; Dave, Daniel, and Douglas Smith, TJ, Christopher, and Timothy Lewis and niece: Hannah Cowie; great niece and nephews; Lily, Cade, Jack, Brock, Luke and Mason.  A private service will be held at a later date.
