Ann B (Yapko) Hill

Ann B. Hill,

Age 96, died Tuesday August 22, 2023. Born May 22, 1927, she had worked as a Avon Representative for 32 years, plus worked at the Woolworth Store for 17 years as a bookkeeper and cashier in Chicago, IL. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Canton, former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus and All Saints Catholic Church in Canton, enjoyed dancing, especially “Line Dancing”, playing “Bingo”, and belonged to the “Senior Program” at the Salvation Army. She was preceded in death by her husband “Chubby” John Hill Sr, and her son “Johnny” John Hill Jr., her two brothers John & Bill Yapko, sister, Mary Palmert, and her nephew, Tommy Yapko. She is survived by her special niece, Barbie (John) Koppe, niece, Sharyl (Buster) Strickland; nephews, Michael (Scherry) Yapko, David Yapko; many great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Peters as celebrant. Entombment will take place in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
