Barbara I. Shirey

Age 76 died Sunday January 12, 2025, following a brief illness. A life resident of Canton, she was the daughter of the late Robert & Ida (Davis) Hosler and was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and was co-owner with her husband Charles of Chuck’s Towing Service. Barb is survived by her sons: Tim (Sharon) Shirey of Hubert, NC, Brian (Tiffany) Shirey of Massillon, Terry (Kristine) Shirey of Cuyahoga, Falls, OH; daughter, Shannon Shirey of Canton; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Shirey who died in 2019; son, Shawn Shirey; brothers: Paul Hosler, Brad Hosler and sister, Margaret “Peg” Morris.
