Carol M. DeChiara
Age 87, died Tuesday June 21, 2022 following an extended illness. A life resident of Stark County she was the daughter of the late Victor and Catherine (Bertolini) Long. She was a graduate of Timken High School and retired from the Hoover Company in 1995. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local # 1185 where she served as recording secretary. Carol is survived by her son: Daniel (Diana) DeChiara of Canton; daughters: Cathy (Jeff) Mutchler of Massillon and Louise Cuenot of Canton; grandchildren: Nicole (Geoff) Renier, Nicholas DeChiara, Michael Fowler; great-grandchildren: Zachary, Camden, Adrianna; many close and lifelong friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Kevin Long and son-in-law: Vincent Cuenot. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday July 2, 2022 at 10:00 am in St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Patrick J. Manning as celebrant. A private burial for the family will be held in Calvary Cemetery. A special thank you to the Laurels of Massillon, Cross Roads Hospice and Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital.
