Charles L. Hamrick, 1933-2018

age 84, of Canton, died Thursday evening in Sarahsville, OH following a brief illness. Born in Clay WV, he was the son of the late Gilbert & Gladys (O'Brien) Hamrick and lived in the Canton area since 1953. He retired from Republic Steel and was a member of Community Full Gospel Church. He is survived by his wife: Jewell (Henry) Hamrick of the home; Dennis (Sandy) Hamrick of Navarre, Bruce Hamrick of Dundee; granddaughter: Ashley Hamrick; brothers: Delbert (Jane) Hamrick, Ralph (Karen) Hamrick, Darrell (Carol) Hamrick, Jerry (Brenda) Hamrick; sisters: Ruth (Richard) Barth, Garnet (Al) Eubanks, Christine (Harley) Murphy and Cindy (Wayne) James. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife: Jessie Hamrick; second wife: Mary Hamrick and brother: Carlos Hamrick. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 12:30 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey S. Witherspoon officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
