Chris C. Koufos, 1929-2018

Age 95, of Sebring, formerly of Canton died Monday December 31, 2018 following a brief illness. Born in Canton he was the son of the late William & Antonia (Cambray) Koufos and was a graduate of Timken High School. Chris was the founder and owner/operator of the Cambray Health Club which had operated for many years on Frazer Ave. NW in Canton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers: Alex Koufos, James Koufos; sister: Ann Koufos and close friend Robert Pierson. He is survived by his sister: Kathy Porter of Canton; niece: Gay Lynn Christy of Beloit; great-nephew: James (Jessica) Christy; great great-grandniece: Madeline Christy; several other nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm in North Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Jeffrey S. Witherspoon officiating. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
