Dale E. Martin

Age 81, of Canton, passed away on Monday October 21, 2024 at the Aultman Compassion Care Center. He was born September 27, 1943 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Freeman and Mildred (Eisenbrei) Martin. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Nieporte, son, Michael (Suzanne) Martin; step- daughter, Monica (John) Koren and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by brother-in-law, Terry (Marilyn) Hilson and sister-in-law, Karen Hilson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Martin and daughter Shelly Marshall and brother-in-law, Dennis Hilson. Dale was a 1961 graduate of Central Catholic High School and retired from Portage Electric. He was a veteran of the Ohio National Guard, also was a member of Christ the Servant Catholic Parish, the Hall of Fame Luncheon Club and Canton Ex-Newsboys. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday November 4, 2024 at 11:00 am in Christ the Servant Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas G. Bishop as celebrant. Private burial for the family will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call one half hour before Mass in the church. Memorial contributions may be to the Canton Ex-Newsboys and Aultman Hospice. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
