Daniel M. Lewers,

Age 66, of Canton died Saturday April 4, following a brief illness. A life resident of Canton he was the son of the late Milton & Jean (Nordick) Lewers and attended Timken High School. He retired from Republic Steel in Canton and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. He is survived by his brothers: Robert (Carolyn) Lewers, James (Cindy) Lewers, John (Lydia) Lewers, Ronald Lewers, Donald (Kimberly) Lewers; sisters: Jean (Gill) Nunez, Rebecca (Jim) Slusser, Linda (Joseph) Fletcher and Laura (Steve) Wise. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother: Thomas Lewers. Services will be private. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
