David T. Valentine

Age 74 died May 28, 2026, while in Port Charlotte, Florida following a brief illness. Born in Canton he was the son of the late Michael & Ann (Catazaro) Valentine. He was a 1969 graduate of Oakwood High School, a 1973 graduate of Kent State University where he earned a degree in Business Administration and retired from the Luntz Corp. as vice president of Marketing. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and I.S.R.I. David is survived by his wife and grade school sweetheart, Donna (Rininger) Valentine of the home; son, Jason (Alaina) Valentine of Canton; daughter, Kelly (David) Elson of Saline, MI; brother, Michael (Sandy) Valentine, Jr of Canton; sister, Pat (Ken) Swallen of North Canton; grandchildren: Dominic Elson and Logan Valentine. Friends may call Sunday afternoon June 7, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Wackerly Funeral Home. A private burial and graveside service for the family will take place in Henry Warstler Cemetery with Pastor Julia Lejman-Guy officiating.
