Dennis (Denny) Giles Printz, age 70, died Friday in Canton, Ohio. He grew up in Massillon and was preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Shirley Printz. Denny is survived by his wife of 46 years, Allison; son, Andrew (Katie) Printz; grandchildren, Ryan and Mary; brother Timothy (Harriet) Printz; and extended family. He graduated from Ohio University, Malone, and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He taught in Malvern and owned Better Hearing. He was a great storyteller and someone others enjoyed being around. Denny had a zest for life and enjoyed time with his grandkids. He loved entertaining and fishing with family and friends on his pontoon at Portage and Atwood Lakes. He liked traveling, especially to the Jersey shore; golfing; pickle ball; metal detecting; taking walks with his wife; and coffee with friends. He had a strong faith and was an active member of the Central Presbyterian Church of Massillon and formerly a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church, serving as a Deacon and Elder. He was a member of the Canton Masonic Temple, McKinley Lodge. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 30th, 2022, 11 AM, in Massillon Central Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Juliann Joy officiating followed by the burial at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday, before the service, from 10-11 AM in the church.
