Diana L. Stromsky

 On Saturday December 28, 2024, Diana Stromsky gained her angel wings at the age of 76 following a sudden illness. Born in New Castle, IN she had lived in Canton before moving to Florida then returning to the Canton area in 2003. She was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School and the University of Florida where she earned a BA and MA. She had worked as a vice president at United Bank in Canton, clinical director of Southwest Florida Children’s Fund and retired as executive director of Catholic Charities of Portage and Stark County. She was a member of North Canton St. Paul Catholic Church. Diana is survived by her sons: Ronald Stromsky, Stephen Stromsky both of Canton; sister, Cyndy Gray of Naples FL; brother-in-law, Chet Stromsky of Canton; sister-in-law, Carol Gray of Etowah, NC; grandchildren: Kouryn Stromsky and Cody Stromsky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Stromsky who died July 14, 2024, brothers: Ronald Gray, Donald Gray and sister, Judy Kauffman. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday January 6, 2025, at 10:00 am in St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Matthew Zwilling as celebrant. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
