Edna “Pearl” Lizer,

Age 96, of North Canton passed away to heaven on Friday May 20, 2022. Born on June 6, 1925 in Morgantown, WV. she was the daughter of the late Columbus and Mattie (Robinson) Wonycott. She was a graduate of Timken Mercy Nursing School, worked as an LPN for Aultman Hospital Home Health Care and was a member of North Industry Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughter: Diana (David) Murphy of Canton; son-in-law: Glen Whipple of Canton; grandchildren: Deborah (Kevin) Luggele, David Whipple, Sharon (Lenny) Whipple, Susan Whipple, Alaina (Jason) Murphy Valentine, George (Laura) Murphy, great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Nate, Corah, Marley and Azalea. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Lizer who died in 2020 and daughter Cheryl Lizer Whipple. Funeral services will be Thursday at 12 noon in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
