Fred C. VanHorn

Age 94, of Canton died Tuesday December 13, 2022 following a brief illness. A life resident of Canton he was the son of the late Clark and Marie (Roshong) VanHorn, was a graduate of Lehman High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WW II. He retired from Union Metal in 1991 and was a member of the McKinley Shooting Club. He is survived by his sister-in-law: Linda Hill of Canton; nieces: Jennifer Hill, Dana (Nathan) Harold, Jeni Smith and nephew: Jeffery (Shirley) Hill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia VanHorn who died in 2018 and sister: Audrey Smith. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jeffrey Witherspoon officiating. Personal condolences are invited at: www.wackerlyfuneralhome.com
