George H. Wise

Age 87, died Wednesday following a brief illness. Born in Greentown, Ohio he was the son of the late Henry and Mabel (Reider) Wise and lived in the Greentown/North Canton area. He was a 1954 graduate of Greentown High School, retired from Eppy’s Chevrolet was a member of Greentown United Methodist Church and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Greentown HADASSAH #450. He survived by his son, Terry (John) Wise of Canton; daughters: Lisa (Eric Padilla) Wise of Canton, Lynda Wise of North Canton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan (Koontz) Wise who died in 2012; brothers: Loren Wise, Ralph Wise and sister, Jeanne Myers. A graveside service with burial to follow will be Monday at 11:00 am in Greentown Cemetery with Rev. David Oliver Kling officiating. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
