Harold D. Meese

Age 88, died suddenly on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Born in Wilmot, Ohio, he was the son of the late Roy and Mary (Lotz) Meese. He was a 1953 graduate of Beach City High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Harold had lived in Washington D.C. for over 32 years while working for the U.S. Government before returning to Wilmot in 1993, following his retirement. His memberships included the Wilmot Methodist Church and the Moose Brewster Lodge # 1102. He is survived by his niece, Georgia Bergert of North Canton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his half-brother, Vance Meese. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 15 at 11:00 am in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wilmot with Pastor Chad Wengerd officiating.
