Jacqueline M. Wackerly Phillips

Age 91, of Canton, died Tuesday following an extended illness. Born in Akron she had lived in the Canton area most of her life. She was the manager of Wackerly Sales & Service, a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and the Lake Cable Card Club She was preceded in death by her husbands: Glen Wackerly & Donald Phillips; daughter: Mary Ann Wackerly; four brothers and one sister. She survived by her sons: Gary Wackerly of Canton, Steven Wackerly of Malvern; daughters: Glenda (Robert) Fritz of Canton, Sharon Stern of Ocala, FL; nine grandchildren and elven great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday at 10:00 am in St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Benson Opkara as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home. Donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
