Jane Ann Guest,

Age 89 of Canton, Ohio, died July 9 2023. She was born in Canton, the daughter of the late Norwood and Arline Guest. She graduated from Reedurban Grade School, attended Lincoln High School, graduating from Jackson Memorial High School. She attended Otterbein College, Westerville, OH, interrupting her education to work at the Canton YWCA for two years after which she resumed her education receiving both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Miami University, Oxford, OH. Professionally, she taught physical education at Euclid Senior High School and Miami University before relocating to Florida where she spent 30 years working in the Student Development Department of St. Petersburg Junior College. In 2003, Canton, once again, became home. She was a member of the Canton Woman’s Club, Arboretum Garden Club, Reedurban Reunion Committee, spending decades on the Board of Directors of her Florida and Ohio condominiums. She is predeceased by her parents and brothers, L. Joe Guest and Ned N. Guest. Survived by the following siblings and (sisters-in-law) Alice Mae Orr, Darien, CT, Sue Guest, Massillon, OH., Nancy Guest, Brunswick, ME. and their offspring. There will be no services.
