Janet C. Smith

Age 88, of Canton died Tuesday December 19, 2023 following an extended illness. Born in Jackson Twp she was the daughter of the Fermon and Ida (Givler) Smith. She attended Jackson High School, retired from Portage Electric Products Inc and was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church. She is survived by her brother, Reggie (Pam) Smith of East Canton; nephew-in-law: James Norch; several grandnieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday Jan 9, 2024 at 1:00 pm in St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church with Rev. Bruce Roth officiating. Burial will be in Mudbrook Cemetery. Donations may be made in her name to St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church.  The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
