JoAnn (Bolovan) Slomsky

JoAnn Slomsky, age 85 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, surrounded by loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Slomsky, and her parents, John and Anna Bolovan. Jo Ann was a graduate of Lincoln High School and was a member of Saint Michael Catholic Church. JoAnn is survived by her loving children: sons: John (Lynn) Slomsky of Westerville, Jeff Slomsky (Elaine) of Canton; daughter: Jill (Brian) Keller of Canton; grandchildren:  Alexa (Eli), Jack (Brooke), Katie (Drew), Sara, Hannah, Kristen, and Amanda (Nick), and great grandson, Eli. JoAnn was always seen at her grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities. She loved to play cards with her girlfriends and was a good friend, too many to name. She spent many years wintering in Englewood, FL at Pelican Landing with John. Many thanks to Laura, Tammy, Crossroads Hospice, and Home Instead for their compassion and care. A Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, September 23 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Aunt Susie’s Cancer Wellness Center.
