John D. O'Harrow

John (Jack) D. O’Harrow

Age 97 died Friday February 21, 2025, following an extended illness. Born in Findlay, Ohio he lived in Clyde, Ohio before moving to North Canton and then Canton. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in WW II, a graduate of The Ohio State University and Bowling Green State University. He retired from Canton City Schools as an Elementary School Principal and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton. Jack is survived by his wife, Norie (Davis) O’Harrow of the home; son, John (Terri) O’Harrow of Canton; daughters: Sandra (Paul) Shawk of North Canton, Pamela (Tom) Christiansen of Canton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard O’Harrow and daughter, Cynthia O’Harrow. A private family gathering will be held with burial in North Lawn Cemetery. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
