John R. Stefanko,

Age 87, died Friday January 13, 2023 following a brief illness. A life resident of the Canton area he was the son of the late John E. and Teresa (Arbore) Stefanko. He was a 1953 graduate of Central Catholic High School served in the U.S. Army and retired from Excel Mold and Machine in 1997. He was a member of St. Mary/St. Benedict Catholic Parish and the Canton Moose. John is survived by his wife: Karen (Gordon) Stefanko of the home; sons: Curtis (Lynn) Stefanko of Canton, Timothy Stefanko of Massillon; daughters: Kimberly Stefanko, Melissa (Arthur) Hardy all of Canton; grandchildren: Kyle (Sandy), Justas, Jacob, Zachary; great-grandchildren: Jaylynn and Gracelynn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister: Patty Liebig and granddaughter: Kendra Stefanko. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 am in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Deacon Randy Smith. Burial with military honors will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
