John M. Warner

Age 49, died Thursday July 25, 2024. Born in Canton, he lived in West Virginia, Colorado, California, and Idaho before recently returning to Ohio. He attended Our Lady of Peace Grade School, Canton Central Catholic High School, graduated from Tusky Valley High School. John graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. He was a former member of the Kent State Kayak Club and was an extreme Whitewater Kayaker and outdoor photographer/videographer. John is survived by his father, Marc (Gay Smith) Warner of Canton; aunts: Lynne Dragomier, Marsha (Rodney) McGregor Kay (Gary) Clevenger, a step-brother and a step-sister, and several beloved cousins, many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Warner. A private funeral service for the family was held in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Fr. Edward Keck officiating.
