Josephine F. Joseph,

Age 84, of Canton, died Wednesday Jan 6, 2021 following a brief illness. A life resident of the Canton area she was the daughter of the late Merchid and Mary (Nassar) Joseph. She was a 1954 graduate of Central Catholic High School, was part owner of Joseph’s Food Market on Navarre Road and was a professional singer performing in local clubs. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, enjoyed dancing and had strong intertest in interior design and house planning. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: William Joseph and sister: Elizabeth Joseph. She is survived by her daughter: Mary Joseph of Canton and several cousins. Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday Jan. 19,  at 11:00 am in St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. There will be no calling hours. Donations may be made in her name to St, Michael Catholic Church.
