Judith M. Nicola, age 77, of Bentonville, AR. formerly of Canton, died September 2, 2022. Born in Toledo, she was the daughter of the late Harry Mercer and Oral (Pingel) Selliken. She was a graduate of Waite High School in Toledo She is survived by her daughters; Anne (Steve) Gwin of Phoenix, AZ, Jennifer (Eric) Belin of Bentonville, AR, Gina Nicola of Avon Lake, OH; brother Richard (Lynn) Mercer of Ellenton, Fl, sister Phyllis (Ted) Simpson of Brooksville, FL; sisters-in-law Patti Francis of Parma, Bobbi Pete of Canton and Rebecca Nicola of Oro Valley, AZ; grandchildren Jacob (Renee), Grant, Brandon, Alex (Gabrielle), Andrew, Peter and Daniel; great-grandson Noah and many nieces and nephews. Judith was preceded in death by her husband Norman, her parents and sisters Lois and Jeanne. Judith was a devoted and loving wife to Norman for 43 years, a dedicated and involved mother and grandmother and readily available for her nieces and nephews. Golfing, sewing, reading, working crossword puzzles, cooking, singing at church and spending time with her dog, Maggie, were her favorite pastimes. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, October 14, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Fr. Patrick Manning as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church. Wackerly Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
