Julia Elizabeth Keim

Julia E. Keim, age 92, died on Thursday, March 5, 2026. She was born on November 4, 1933, in Canton, Ohio to Inez T. (Merkle) and Frank C. Haffner. She had lived her entire life in Canton until recently. Julia was a 1951 graduate of Central Catholic and attended Duquesne University until she married Edgar L. Keim on September 26, 1953. Later, she graduated from Walsh College. She was a member of Christ the Servant Parish. Preceded in death are Julia’s parents and husband Edgar (2004), sister Margaret F. McCaulley and her husband Richard. She is survived by Zoe Wagner and her husband Louis along with their four children: Claire (Jonathan) Schuster, Ellen (Nick) Jones, Paul (Samantha) Wagner and Catherine Wagner; Sister Janet Keim, Daughter of Charity, and Adele Keim and her husband Michael Cicigoi and her children: Lauren (Brian Sears) Wargo, Marybeth (Mahmoud Wahby) Wargo, Amy Wargo and Joanna Wargo. Great grandchildren include Molly and Daniel Schuster, Lennox Wagner, Zayn and Nour Wahby. Special thanks to all the staff at Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls for their loving care. On Monday, March 9, 2026, visitation will begin at 9:30 am at The Wackerly Funeral Home at 1375 Market Ave. N., Canton. Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am in the funeral home followed by The Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Christ the Servant Parish in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church at 833 39th Street NW in Canton. The celebrant will be Monsignor Lewis F. Gaetano. Burial will follow the Mass immediately at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Family requests no flowers.
