Katherine K. Vernelli

Age 74, died Monday following a brief illness. Born in Madison West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Edward & Reba (Kinder) Bowles and had lived in the Canton area most of her life. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Stark State College and attended Rivertree Church. Her employment included Conrail, Myers Driving School, Rickitt and Colman, and Stark M.R.D.D. Katherine loved her two dogs Bentley and Katniss. She was the biggest Beatles fan and truly enjoyed sharing their music with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband: Daniel Vernelli; daughter: Heather (Jason) Sponseller; grandchildren: Milena and Elara which were her world. brother-in-law Tony Keeton; brother-in-law Vince (Kay) Vernelli of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario; sister-in-law’s Sandra Johnson of Marquette Michigan, Ruth Vernelli of Welland Ontario; brother-in-law Michael (Kathy) Vernelli of Kitchener Ontario. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Ellen Bowles, Donna Keeton; brothers-in-law: Chuck Vernelli, Joseph Kalisz and sister-in-law: Karen Kalisz. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Redman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
