Kevin M. Garvey

Age 65, passed away Wednesday August 21, 2024 following a brief illness. Born in Buffalo, NY., he was the son of the late, John & Constantine (DeLello) Garvey and had lived in Canton most of his life. He was a 1977 graduate of McKinley High School and was of Catholic faith. Kevin's family will always remember him as a loving, caring, and kindhearted brother, uncle, and great uncle, with a unique sense of humor. Through the many challenges in Kevin's life, he remained a brave, strong, and kindhearted warrior. Kevin always worried about others ahead of himself, and his family will miss him deeply. Kevin's family will always treasure their time with him and will keep telling his amazing jokes! Kevin is survived by his brother, Patrick (Davene) Garvey of Silver Lake, OH; sisters: Brenna Schweizer, Kathleen Garvey both of Canton; niece, Brandy; nephews: Andrew, Derrick (Ashley), Tyler, Patrick, Trevor; great-nieces: Breely, Evelyn, Riley and great-nephew, Zamir. Funeral services will be Monday August 26, 2024 at 3:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Fr. Edward L. Beneleit officiating.
