Linda K (Ison) Lilly

Linda Kay (Ison) Lilly, age 82, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on March 17, 1944, in Canton, to the late John and Bernice Ison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Darel, David, Donald, and Gary Ison. Linda spent most of her life in Canton, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and kindness. She was a devoted wife to her husband, John Lilly Jr., with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. She was a loving mother to Cynthia (William) Bausley, Lorraine Elavsky, and John (Kelly) Lilly III. Linda was also a proud grandmother to Natalie Scott, Rachel Senter, Joshua Boley, Preston Elavsky, Madison Elavsky, Jonathan Lilly, and Katie Lilly, and a cherished great-grandmother to Makayla Hinkle, Juliana Angelo, and Malani Lennon. Linda attended Timken High School, was an avid reader who enjoyed golfing, and treasured the time she spent with her family. She worked as both a dental assistant and a real estate agent. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was an active member of Canton Baptist Temple. She will be remembered for her loving heart, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Advantage Hospice for their compassionate care, kindness, and support during this difficult time. Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 19th, at 11:00 am at the Canton Baptist Temple in the Henniger Chapel with Pastor Mike Frazier officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the Henniger Chapel.
