Lucy N. Wilson

Age 89 died Thursday February 6, 2025, following an extended illness. Born in Windber, PA she was the daughter of the late Nick & Genevieve (DiBattisa) Scaglione and lived in the Canton area most of her life. She retired from the City of Canton working in the M.I.S. Computer Department, was a member of Christ the Servant Parish, a former member of Canton St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Paul's Altar Rosary Society and was chairperson of the St. Paul's Church Bingo. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Hoffman of East Sparta; sister-in-law, Janet Scaglione of Wadsworth; granddaughter, Jamey Lynn Schuett and great-grandson, Elliot Schuett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Hoffman, second husband, Donald Wilson; daughter, Sharon Hoffman; brothers: Charles, Thomas, Albert, Donnie, James: sister, Angeline Caporali and they’re “all together again.”  Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Fr. Daniel Finnerty officiating. She will be entombed next to her first husband in North Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
