Marie E. Hoyle
Age 98 of Canton, passed away at Canton Christian Home on Thursday, 6/10/21. Marie was born in Jerusalem, Ohio and graduated from Barnesville High. She was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII. Marie is survived by her sons: James G Hoyle of San Diego, CA, Raymond T (Pearl) Hoyle of Canton, Perry C (Linda) Hoyle of Canton, daughters: Paula (Lance) Chamberlain of Rochester, MN and Edie (Ray) Nearhood of Perry Twp., grandchildren: Raymond L (Evelyn) Nearhood, Vincent Nearhood, Raymond Hoyle, William Hoyle, Charles Hoyle, Marie Hoyle and 10 great-grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, James "Red" Hoyle in 1984, brother: Wilbur Parks, sisters: Mary Evans, Edith Campbell, Nora Mason and grandson: Dennis (Rachel) Chamberlain. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 AM in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Muller officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home. Donations may be made in her name to Canton Christian Home Benevolent Fund or to a charity of your choice.
