January 16th 2023 Mark A. Franta was released from this physical world an entered the eternal, spiritual realm that awaits us all.  Born June 23, 1955 Mark was the youngest child of Edward and Margie (Harland) Franta. Mark lived his entire life in Canton, Ohio. He graduated from Perry High School where he met his loving wife Barb (Rowland) to which he was married 1-20-1979.They had two wonderful sons - Paul (Megan) and Benjamin (Franchesca) Franta.  He has five beautiful grandchildren. All of which survive him. He is predeceased by his parents and sisters in law Jeannie Rowland and Teri (Webster) Franta. He is also survived by three brothers Philip – (Myriam), Dennis, Timothy. One sister Diane Franta. Barb’s family - parents Ray and Verna Rowland, Brother in law Robert Rowland and sister in law Vicki Fink as well as many nieces and nephews. Mark worked at Canton Sign Co. retiring in 2012. In his life he loved Hunting Grouse, Fishing in Rice Lake, Skiing the North Face at Seven Springs and playing Golf. The family will hold a private memorial service. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Donations can be made in his memory to charities of your choice.
