Mark V. Zeren
Age 62, of Canton died Sunday July 25, 2021 following an extended illness. Born in Canton he was the son of the late William and Genevieve (Irish) Zeren. He was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School, Kent State University, served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Air National Guard in 2015. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church where he was a church usher and worked at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Mark is survived by his wife: Suzanne (Charsanko) Zeren of the home; sons: Richard Zeren, Joseph Zeren, Vincent Zeren all of Canton; daughters: Monika Zeren of Lakewood, OH., Kristina Zeren of North Canton; brothers: Philip Zeren, Greg Zeren, Bob (Debi) Zeren all of Canton; sisters: Marilyn (Mark) Wollet of Canfield, OH., Andrea Sharp of Papillion, NE. and Laura (Kevin) August of Portage, IN.; In addition to his parent’s, he was preceded in death by his brother: Stephen Zeren. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Peter Catholic Church with the Very Rev. John E. Sheridan, STL as celebrant. Burial with military honors will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home. Donations may be made in his name to St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
