Martha E (Twaddle) Evans

Martha E. Evans, 1920-2018

age 98, of East Canton, died Thursday evening following an extended illness. Born in Bergholz, Ohio she was the daughter of the late John & Anna (Johnson) Twaddle and lived in East Canton for the last thirty years. She was a 1938 graduate of Bergholz High School, worked at Isley's Restaurant in Carrollton and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Canton.

Martha is survived by her sons: Gary Evans of Louisville, Benny (Carolyn) Evans of Louisville, Joe (Kathy) Evans of Dayton; daughter: Gayle Evans of Bolivar; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband: Clyde Evans who died in 2009; three brothers and two sisters. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am in Bergholz Cemetery, Bergholz, Ohio with Mr. Scott Evans officiating. Burial will follow. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
